Hi, I’m Ellie Kleid from EK Family Therapy.
I’m passionate about the way our relationships across the lifespan shape who we are, how we communicate, and how we connect with others. Through a warm and collaborative approach, I aim to help people make sense of their experiences, improve communication, and build stronger, more fulfilling relationships.
Whether you or your family are experiencing stress, parenting struggles, communication breakdowns, feeling stuck, or navigating major life transitions, I offer a safe and supportive space where you can feel understood and explore new ways forward.
My practice is trauma-informed and grounded in attachment and family systems theory. Together, we might explore your family and relationship experiences, notice patterns in the way you communicate, and reflect on the roles you take up in different areas of your life. These insights can open up new perspectives on how past and present experiences shape your wellbeing, while also helping us develop practical strategies to support lasting change.
I especially enjoy working with whole family systems. My role is to create space for all voices to be heard and for different perspectives to be valued. A key part of family therapy is recognising that each person may experience challenges differently and may want change in different ways. By exploring these differences with compassion, we can find new paths forward together.
Areas of focus and interest:
